Friday Farmyard Fun at The National Brewery Centre

Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, UK – This summer, to help parents get through the seemingly endless school holiday, The National Brewery Centre, Burton, is hosting a regular ‘Farmyard Friday’ event at the Horninglow Street attraction.

Children - who’ll get into the Centre for free when accompanied by a paying adult - will be able to meet a variety of farmyard animals such as pigs, hens, goats, ponies and, not forgetting the Centre’s two Shire horses, Major and Trooper.

In addition to the animals, there will also be Dream Pony rides, face painting, a bouncy castle and slide. Please note that a small activity charges may apply.

Kim Clarke, general manager at The National Brewery Centre, said: “We all know how hard it can be to entertain the kids during the big summer holiday, so our Farmyard Fridays should offer a glimmer of hope to beleaguered parents!”

“Alongside the Farmyard Friday activities, we also have the Shire horses on site throughout the school holidays, lots of interactive exhibits and a play area to keep little ones occupied.”

Farmyard Fridays will take place on the 30th July, 13th and 27th August 2010.

Doors open to the public from 10am and last entry is at 5pm.
