Bringing the past to life

We have an impressive collection of authentic Victorian outfits for staff and pupils to wear. This really brings the past to life, particularly when in our Victorian style classroom.
Nursery and Playgroup Groups
The National Brewery Centre offers a range of nursery activities which provide the opportunity to learn in a fun and exciting environment. We have a range of visit packages which make a day at the NBC a visit that children will always remember and a place they will want to come back to again and again!

Primary School Groups
Visits to the National Brewery Centre covers a wide range
history, literacy, numeracy, and science. Pupils are not only able to learn in an
industrial setting, but are also treated to a day of fun.
At the National Brewery Centre, the history of brewing comes to life to motivate and inspire young and old, novice and expert. It is the only Centre in the UK devoted to the country’s brewing industry. Not only does it guide you through the process of brewing, but shares the stories of the Burtonians who worked here. Our newly appointed historical re-enactors , brand new interactives and carefully chosen activities will help to ensure that your pupils’ visit will be one that they will always remember.

Secondary School Groups
The National Brewery Centre welcomes education group visits from all types of schools and establishments including primary and secondary schools, further and higher education colleges and universities studying a wide range of subjects including science, history, geography and business studies.
