The National Brewery Centre Heavy Horse Show

The National Brewery Centre Heavy Horse Show takes place on Sunday 12th September 2010. The show will celebrate all of the iconic heavy horse breeds, including the National Brewery Centres very own pair, Trooper and Major.

The Entry Classes are:
1. Barren Mare or Gelding 3 years or over
2. Yearling..........Colt, Filly or Gelding
3. 2 Year Old...... Colt, Filly or Gelding
4. Brood Mare
5. Colt or Filly Foal
6. Young Handler 10yrs – 16yrs old.

Best of Class will all receive a prize. The judge for the day will be Mr T Fountain.
The Shows First Class will start at 11am.

Comedy Club at the Brewery Tap


This is a new, regular event at the Brewery Tap. Called The Firkin Comedy Club, it will offer a top-class evening of comedy which take place at the Brewery Tap on the last Friday of every month. There will be an MC and an array of comedians to entertain you whilst you enjoy a drink from the bar and perhaps a sumptious meal served at your table.

Tickets for the event, which are purchased in advance, cost £10 and are available from the Brewery Tap bar and restaurant or the National Brewery Centre. With seating at tables in cabaret-style, the audience can enjoy the comedy and have the option of eating a meal during the performances.

We recommend that customers book early to avoid disappointment, as tickets are limited.

Doors open at 8pm and there’s plenty of free, onsite parking available. Doors close at 11pm.

Steam and Transport Festival at The National Brewery Centre

The National Brewery Centre in Burton is playing host to a celebration of all things Steam and transport. Doors open at 10am. Normal ticket price applies. Kids get in free with a paying adult!
