Actor / Performer Wanted

The National Brewery Centre is looking for a new member to join their Performance Team.

The vacancy is for a male ‘Costume Character Performer’
Full time or Part time (please state in application).

The role will require the following;

• Entertaining the public through out ‘The Brewing Experience’.
• Acting as a Victorian Brewery worker, such as a Cooper, Train Driver, Maltster or even Mr Bass himself.
• Serving samples of real ale in the Edwardian Bar
• Keeping the public both informed and amused through out the day
• Giving talks and performances to tours and school groups.

The new member will also be working on other events with the team, such as performing in their Cabaret show, where their recent July show was sold out, as well other up and coming performances and theme nights.

Chef de Partie – 1 required

What’s it all about?
Chef de Partie required for a modern British restaurant in Burton upon Trent, with extensive a la carte restaurant. Immediate start for a hardworking and highly-skilled Chef de Partie. Good working environment and perks. Very organised and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for a food-focused Chef de Partie.

What’s expected?
Hands-on experience with a la carte service, preferably on meat, fish and sauce sections. Sound communication skills and team-building ability. Maintain high levels of productivity and food standards during service. Flexible to work both lunch and dinner shifts.
